The Dress

Thought I'd be diligent and upload a picture of Matilda's dress that I've made for the wedding.

It's a New Look pattern 6693 (View A) and I used Aqua Ribbon Dance (Stonehill Collection by Donna Wilder) to make it - reasoning that if I was going to buy this readymade in a kids boutique I'd be unlikely to get much change from $100. And I ended up getting the fabric in Spotlight's finish the bolt sale at a discount!
The dress has passed the twirl test and I will post pictures of Matilda in it once we get back from the wedding and associated travels!

It's a gorgeous dress, Ange! And to think you managed it when you've been so unwell! My crafting has come to an unceremonious halt over the last few weeks due to illness finally catching up to me. I'm looking forward to feeling better and getting on with things again, that's for sure! I hope the wedding was lovely. xx
